Week In Review: January 5, 2025 – Psalms/Hymns/Spiritual Songs “Be Thou My Vision”.
01/05/2025
Hymn link: Be Thou My Vision with Lyrics.

Applicable Holy Bible Verse:  Psalm 66:1« To the chief Musician, A Song or Psalm. » Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:

Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art;
Thou my best thought, by day or by night;
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

This is clear in its reference and the lyrics are no more appropriate then as they are right now.  We start this new year with a true BANG:

Soldier shot self in head before Cybertruck exploded outside Trump’s Las Vegas hotel, officials say
The highly decorated Army soldier inside a Tesla Cybertruck packed with fireworks that exploded outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas shot himself in the head just before detonation, authorities said Thursday. Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill said Matthew Livelsberger, a 37-year-old Green Beret, likely planned a more damaging attack but the steel-sided vehicle absorbed much of the force from the crudely built explosive. Damage from the blast was mostly limited to the interior of the truck because the explosion “vented out and up” and didn’t hit the Trump hotel doors just a few feet away, the sheriff said.

A different version of the hymn: Verse sung by Indian Women – Very Lovely!
Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father and I, Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Several other events have also taken place causing concern:
  • Mass Shooting in Montenegro.
  • Volcano Causes Mass Evacuations in Ethiopia.
  • Firework CHAOS in Germany.
  • God Threw Down The Plane.
  • India shrouded in dense smog!

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise;
Thou mine inheritance, now and always;
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart;
O King of glory, my treasure Thou art.

Rule and reign in me ’til Thy will be done;
