Here’s the thing with depraved humans, we have only mercy for ourselves and NO MERCY for others.  Unlike Our God: Psalms 103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.  We act this way despite this plain instruction: Luke 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. and this promise: Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
