This “Labor Day” let us take a Bible perspective on it why don’t we?
This “Holiday” (literally meaning Holy Day – i.e., to take stock and sanctify it separately from other days) has a big stinking problem at its foundation. Two words, Haymarket Riot is all you need to do a little research on.
Currently, the Labor Unions encourage two main things: 1. Dues so they can (traditionally and well documented) steal from the members; 2. Laziness, and One-Ups-Manship.
Everything the Unions stand for TODAY is contrary to these plain words:
Ec 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
Romans 13:1-5 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
Col 3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
Unless and until the United State Labor Market begins embracing, encouraging, and following these clear standards you will continue to be punished by God, as highlighted in these statistics:
