Thank you for writing, Stuart.
Based on the references you use and the angry energy you pour into defending the Jewish race against the unmovable reality that they killed the Messiah, we presume you are yourself one of the Children of Israel. That is good, because we have a strong desire to preach to that sad and doomed lot since we know that very soon now 144,000 of your seed will be miraculously called forth to grace and repentance and that thrills our very souls!
Your exercised venom aside, we know very well that your ancestor Saul of Tarsus likewise despised the preaching of Christ and even brought upon those early churches a horrible and institutionalized wasting (Galatians 1:13), as emissary for the Jews. Paul repented, of course, by the grace of God. Those other Jews, however, were basking in the hateful glow of that grievous sin of delivering Christ to be slain by Pilate’s troops. Christ said plainly to Pilate: “Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.” (John 19:7) The “he” in that declaration was your ancestor the Jew! So, whether you accept responsibility for that sin of your people or not, we have here that very Christ you mischievously say was a “learned man” declaring that your race of people “hath the greater sin” in the act of sending Him to His death!
But Scripture answers your lie yet more. When the Roman official Pilate found that he was only going to have a massive revolt on his hands if he did not kill the innocent Christ, he expressly said: “I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.” (Matthew 27:24). The Roman did not want or accept the responsibility for the death of Christ on him or his soldiers. The Roman knew him as innocent, and declared him so. Nevertheless, like the Jews of this generation defy and refuse to submit to the law on the books of this nation about their violent hatred of Christ and His Word and His prophets, your ancestors refused to submit to Pilate’s declaration of Christ’s innocence. What then did your ancestors say? ” Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.” (Matthew 27:25).
It’s too late to rewrite history, angry friend. Like the holocaust deniers, you wish to obfuscate the plain evidence of the crime. You wish to remove the stain of that horrific, earth-shattering, eternally-shameful act by shifting blame to those over which your ancestors wielded malicious influence and forced the hand to the killing of the Messiah! You cannot do that. You can fool the masses who equally hate Christ, but you cannot fools His servants. Far more importantly, you cannot fool God!
That leads us to the final, and certainly the most terrifying reality about the consequences that will come upon the Jewish people for the crime of slaying Jesus the Christ. Your prophets all saw what was coming — both your collective insanity in the act, and the heart-wrenching punishment. Daniel the Prophet was so horrified at the vision of what was coming that he fainted. We say, in our faithful attempts to instruct our Jewish brothers and sisters, that when the promised punishment comes you will consider the holocaust horrors to be a mere pinky-finger-out tea party. While the 144,000 redeemed of your seed will be graciously preserved from harm, the remainder will be slaughtered without a hint of mercy. Whatever the number of living Jews there are when that day comes, all that will remain will be 144,000. So relatively small a number, the prophet Amos said “As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.” (Amos 3:12)
We pray, Lord willing, that you will be one of those to whom the Lord pours out “the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.” (Zechariah 12:10) You all certainly need to be sorry for that slaughter of Christ, your only and soon to come Messiah. But that repentance will only be given to the 144,000. If you are one of those, we will love you and pour out that brotherly love that we pour out upon all those with whom we hope to spend eternity in service to God. If not, we will continue to show you that charity that we pour out upon all other humans who inhabit this generation with us — chiefly by daily offering up the Bread of Life and the Fountains of Living Waters on your mean and hateful streets.
In true love, your friends at WBC
To Whom It may Concern:
Today i saw a video of how your congregation demonstrated at Yeshiva University in Washington Heights, New York. It disgusted me.
I was brought up to respect the beliefs of others, to honor others however your congregation defeats all of that. You preach nothing but hate and prejudice. And you claim to be a people of God? I beg to differ. You are a people of Satan, bigoted, prejudiced, intolerant, violent. God and Jesus were peaceful. Jesus preached love, tolerance, non-violence and yet you ………JUST THE OPPOSITE.
Jews, in case you did not know, did not kill Jesus. He was Jewish. He was a learned man, a teacher, a rabbi. Crucifixion was the method of the Romans, now the seat of the Catholic Church. I suggest that you read and study history. I do not ask that you love me. I do not want the love of bigoted fools but I ask for tolerance for others, respect for those who have different beliefs than you.
Just for the record, in case your history does not include this fact, it was the baptized of Europe who killed six million Jews and others.
