A Question On Eschatology: Who Is “Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots?”

When The Lord opens unto us the matters relating to the End Of Things, I rejoice because it gives me hope that the coming of our Lord draws nigh.

When The Lord opens unto us the matters relating to the End Of Things, I rejoice because it gives me hope that the coming of our Lord draws nigh.

My dear friends at WBC,

I have a question regarding Mystery Babylon that identified in Jeremiah 50:6, Revelation 18, and in Isaiah 47. I myself am now trying to research this mystery working on the Bible. Many faux Christian researches refer it to the USA, others say it is nothing but the European Union revived as Rome with her pedophile Pope. What is your view regarding Mystery Babylon?

Hopefully I visit WBC one day. 🙂

Dear Igor,

Please read the sermons below (and really, ALL the sermons: http://godhatesfags.com/audio/index.html#sermonsPlaylist ). There is much discussion and teaching on matters of eschatology in our pulpit, which makes me rejoice greatly because I know that our Lord leads us along and puts matters before us, according to His good will. So when He opens the matters relating to The End Of Things, I rejoice because it gives me hope that the coming of our Lord draws nigh.

At this time, our current light on the matter is that Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots, is false religion. Here is a three part sermon series by our beloved Elder Tim. I believe the third sermon answers your question directly:

Setup of Armageddon: http://bit.ly/Armageddon1

The Siege of Jerusalem: http://bit.ly/SiegeOfJerusalem

The Wedding of the Lamb and the Supper of the Great God: http://bit.ly/SupperOfGod

But above ALL THAT, I would not respond to you without reminding you that Christ will return to take His Bride, that is, His Church. “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” (Mark 16:16) BELIEVING includes believing the doctrine of “The Church.” The Church is authorized to perform that ordinance of baptism. Get to The Church!
