“That’s why I ask the LORD, up in Heaven above, ‘what is this thing called love?’”
The words most-close-to-profound *saloon singer* Frank Sinatra ever sang, and which he is spending eternity screaming about.
Frank (Francis Albert Sinatra) would have been 100 years old today (12/12/15), and the fact that this nation (looking at you NPR!) is thoroughly obsessed with him and his vile, violent, racist legend is one giant GODSMACK!
Here’s reality Frank faced upon God taking his last breath:
“His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou outhest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury…” Matthew 25:26-29
Frank deeply KNOWS *love* is I John 5:3esque OBEDIENCE and the LORD “never knew [loved]” him.
